Helping you take your yoga practice off the mat

Hi, I’m Leah! Yoga has influenced my life in so many wonderful ways, and it is my privilege to be sharing the practice with others.

My  Yoga Story

I began practicing yoga in 2012 as a form of exercise. I soon became nearly obsessed with the practice and how it made me feel.

After each session I was left with a feeling of lightness and love. I knew in my gut there was more to yoga than the poses on the mat could teach me. After a few intense months of practice I enrolled in a teacher training in India for the following year.

I never intended to become a yoga teacher, at least not right away. Going to India was only supposed to be a way for me to learn. I wanted to learn yoga from people who grew up with it as a part of their culture; people who truly lived and breathed yoga.

Another teacher I met during my training encouraged me to try teaching. With her encouragement, and support, I had my first teaching job the month following my training.

Since then, I have incorporated the spiritual practice of yoga into my everyday life, and everything else that I do.

My classes are an accumulation of everything I have learned on and off the mat.

My Values & Beliefs

Yoga is for Everyone

It is my goal to offer classes that are accessible for any and all levels of mental and physical fitness. Yoga knows no limits, be it age, flexibility or size.

You Can't be Bad at Yoga

Yoga is a mental discipline with a physical practice. In yoga we use the body and breath to connect with our true selves. Touching your toes has nothing to do with spirituality

Yoga is Everywhere

You don’t need to step on a mat to practice yoga.  Physical yoga practice, or asana, is only a subsection of yoga. The true practice happens in the ordinary moments of everyday life.

I’ve been to a lot of yoga classes in a lot of places and Lobitos yoga is one of my favorite and most memorable studios.

The studio itself is a uniquely beautiful space and Leah naturally connects with her students and is genuinely happy to have the opportunity to lead you through a wonderful class.

I work to help people adjust their mindset in order to re-create healthy habits and routines and over time to accomplish their goals

We’ll cover nutrition education; exercise and movement; habits and routines; and yoga and mediation.

I offer individual consultations or a virtual 90 day program that can be completed from anywhere.
